1. What is the SiVIEW Quick Exam ?

The Quick Exam is a method used to verify the relevance of an existing prescription. It includes fewer control loops than a Deep Exam, which aims to deliver a full, detailed analysis

What is the difference between the Quick Exam and the Deep Exam

  • Quick Exam : Designed to validate an existing correction. Make sure the initial values are relevant (presciption less than 6 months old, autorefraction, etc) before starting
  • Deep Exam : Suitable for all cases, including complx ones. Combined with case history, it provides a detailled and personalized analysis to support patient care

3. What are the requirements for performin a Quick Exam

To carry out a Quick Exam, the following conditions must be met :

  • Age: Under 70 years old.

  • Prescription:

    • Sphere between -5.75D and +3.75D

    • Cylinder less than 2D

    • Spherical difference between eyes less than 1.5D

  • Medical history : No know ocular pathology or systemic disease

4. How do I choose between a Quick Exam and a Deep Exam

When selecting your exam preferences, keep in mind that your choice will affect the duration and depth of the examination :

  • If you need a quick check of a recent prescription, choose the Quick Exam
  • If you need a detailled analysis or are dealing with complex cases, the Deep Exam is recommended

5. Why is the Quick Exam Limited to specific cases ?

The Quick Exam involves fewer checks and may not detect certain conditions that require in-depth analysis. It is therefore reserved for simple cases and recent prescritptions.

6. What happens if the requirements for the Quick Exam are not met ?

If the criteria are not met, the app will automatically redirect you to the Deep Exam to ensure a more complete and appropriate evaluation.
