Steps to Change the Keyboard Language

Method 1: From the Settings App

1. Open the Settings App: Tap the “i” “Settings” icon from the home screen.
2. Go to General Management: Scroll down and tap on “General Management”.
3. Tap on Language and Input: Then select “Language and Input”.
4. Select On-screen Keyboard: Tap “On-screen Keyboard”, then choose the keyboard you’re using
(usually Samsung Keyboard).
5. Configure Input Languages:
– Tap “Languages and types”.
– Tap “Manage input languages”.
– Enable the languages you want to use (e.g., English, French, Spanish, etc.).

Method 2: Switching Between Languages While Typing

Once multiple languages are activated:
– Method 1: Swipe the Space Bar – Swipe your finger horizontally across the space bar to switch
between languages.
– Method 2: Tap the Globe Icon 🌐 – Tap the 🌐 icon (to the left of the space bar) to cycle through the
installed languages

Common Issues

I don’t see the “Languages and types” option

Make sure Samsung Keyboard is set as your default keyboard:
1. Go to Settings > General Management > Language and Input > Default Keyboard.
2. Select Samsung Keyboard.

The keyboard doesn’t switch languages

– Long-press the 🌐 icon to manually select from the list of installed languages.
– Ensure that more than one language is enabled in the keyboard settings.
